Warrnambool
Yes, I swear, that's what the town we stay in at the moment is called. It is popular with funny names here - Ulladulla, Wagga Wagga, Yarra Yarra, and Lollipop Creek. We also drove through a little hole today called Separation Creek, a sad little place, as expected from the name. But a great location close to the beach.
We've been driving 200 km today, or at least I have. Most of the time on the left side. There was just one confusion when arriving in the more city-like area of Warrnambool where my focus slipped. But no worries, it all sorted out!
We've checked out the city tonight. It gives me WildWildWest-feelings. Low buildings on a flat landscape, in neverending rows. But without the dusty roads. We found a great little restaurant called Bojangles, where I had a superb salmon-avodado-pasta, and Joding had the Meat-lovers pizza! There was all the meat you'd wish for.
I thought I saw flamingos, but they turned out to be stupid orange flags. We did see great limestone (kalksten) cliffs today, excellent driving along the Great Ocean Road. Tomorrow we're off to Hall's Gap.
Hugs from us!

I can understand your fascination with the Australian place names. They often have the same effect on English speakers too!
Now, you really must stay on the correct side of the road because that is what everyone else is doing! Whenever I travel in a hired car where, like most of Europe, they drive on the right, I have fun. It is always in the towns and cities where you get it wrong. In Greece they have only a single sign to spot whereas in the UK we have two - one each side of the road. Things like no entry signs and traffic lights.
Even changing gear with my right hand feels strange. Then we come back to the UK and find ourselves driving on the right for a moment! It's all good fun.
But please watch out for situations with oncoming traffic on narow roads. ALWAYS correct to the left!!! I have heard of fatal accidents where British tourists in Eurpoe have corrected left when they should have done it to the right.
