Batmobile

The batmobile had it's annual check-up today. Me and Melvin went to the Bilprovningen at 9 this morning. Apparently they had a computer breakdown, which made it slightly confusing knowing which gate to enter - but it worked out in the end. Melvin greeted all the car-checking guys (not surprisingly, it's a rather male-dominated working atmosphere). There were NO rust on the car, which is impressive on a 20-year-old car! Apparently he could see that the car had gone through a Velcro (??) (corrosion protective) treatment, which he announced defintely had saved the car. He adjusted the headlights a tad, and went for a test ride. I suppose the car didn't do any of its jumping-buisness, because he didn't mention it afterwards. All well, apart from the handbreak. Little to our surprise, this item failed the test - an annual occurence apparently. On wednesday it's being dropped of at Volvo to be fixed up. I want to ask about why the car does its "jumping-thingy", but I don't dare, just asking might cost a fortune!

Batmobile high up

Failed. Two things about the handbreak failed, that you could pull it too high up before it really "took", and also that even when it was tightened as hard as possible - it was not good enough.
