Singapore pics
Mainly for Irene and the other Singapore travellers to look at, to prepare for the trip on friday. Don't forget to visit Little India, and all the small cute stores, and the megastore Mustafa Center open all day around, all week, all year.
Along Orchard Road where all the (expensive) stores are located.
When about to land in Singapore. Huge harbour area.
The super-beautiful National Orchid Garden - part of the botanical garden close to the west end of Orchard Road. Just visit it, it is super pretty! 1 Singapore dollar entry with student's discount, I think you'll afford it!
Watch out for these babies.
The Merlion. Sort of the symbol for Singapore, on all post cards. I guess you just have to go there. You can continue walking to China Town while you're in that area. Cute small stores, and very chineese. Watch out for the icky food - sheep brains/balls and the specialty 'Pigs organ soup". Bleuööörk!!
Indian temple in China Town - pretty.
Tall buildings, of course.
Little India - in rain. Bring umbrella!!
Sultan's mosque on Arab Street (a street full of super cheap fabric and scarves!)
City Centre (Orchard Road) buildings
China Town shopping
Have a great time in Singapore!!
