TV
Since I went on sick leave I have noticed there is a lot of pure crap on television. This afternoon, after waking up from my 2-hour post-work nap, I layed and watched sitcoms (Judging Amy, South Park, King of Queens, Will and Grace, That 70's show). Between two of the shows the TV announcer came on and talked about programmes coming up later this evening. He mentioned that tonight are the finals of the swedish version of Paradise Hotel at 10.30 pm. He informed that today, we would finally know which couple would win the money and honour at stake in the show.
Honour, I think it is a wee bit too late for that.
NB. I speak from a strictly prejudical perspective, since I have actually never seen the programme. Instead the small clips, shown to promote viewing the show, has given me my entire basis for the content.

About television, you got THAT right - mostly rubbish. Do you get programmes like Lost and Prison Break in Sweden? Those are very good and popular in America.
Hey Arlen,
We do get that Lost here in Sweden, but Prison Break I never heard of. I saw the few first episodes of Lost, until it seemed supernatural, and I lost interest. Maybe I shouldn't have given up so easily on it? It seems popular, but that doesn't mean I will like it of course. I am pleased with having the brilliant Friends episodes on DVD, if I feel bored, I can always put one of those in! Thanks for reading and commenting!
Hey SS,
"Lost" isn't bad and the supernatural angle isn't really as prominent as people lead on.
My 20 year old daughter has the first 8 seasons of Friends on DVD and I NEVER get tired of them. Joey is my favorite.
I like your blog, especially your discourse on smokers. Seems as if you're a very perceptive lass; I just think it's interesting communicating with someone in a different country!
Best to you,
Arlen
